The Foundation has organized free and charitable Health Screening Camps in remote villages of Rajasthan, India, every year. Last medical camp was organized in 2024 where a total of over 600 patients were screened primarily for chronic conditions like hypertension, cholesterol,  diabetes, constipation, osteoarthritis, etc.

Free medications were distributed to those patients who were diagnosed with these conditions. Arrangements were made for follow-up visits with local doctors with the recommendation to monitor their blood pressure and have their blood chemistry, HgA1C, lipid panel, any other required lab work. Once they have their lab reports available these patients were encouraged to follow up with Isha Vedic Foundation, for teleconsultation with Mrs. Manju Sharma, MS, PA-C, if they have any problem in following up with their local doctors.

Also, a large number of patients were seen and treated for other ailments during these camps including gynecologic, cough/cold, allergies, headache, COPD, arthritis, etc. The Foundation is continuing to pay for medicines through local pharmacies to poor and indigent patients who could not afford to buy. We are seeing that increasing number of local volunteers are enthusiastically coming forward to help organizing these camps.

Other projects – nutritious meals are distributed to poor, old people, or children in the need of food. Educational support is provided via supporting qualified kids particularly girls with books, fees, school dress, and other supplies, etc. We are expanding some of the other activities such as supporting children in orphanage, distributing warm clothing, etc. with the help of local volunteers. As we grow in the services and number of people served, the financial support becomes crucial for materializing and maintaining these projects.
