Founder - Om Sharma, PhD

Dr. Om Sharma was born into a Raj Purohit (Royal Priest) family in Rajasthan, India. He lives in NJ with his family. His entire family is involved in social and community services. He is a senior pharmaceutical executive in clinical drug development area. Dr. Sharma had led successful development and commercialization of life saving drugs such as Xarelto (heart disease), Invokana (diabetes), Erleada (prostate cancer),  hormonal contraceptives for women, Priligy, Doribax, Children’s Advil, etc. Before entering the pharmaceutical world, he was a University Professor at Johns Hopkins University, Univ of Virginia, Max Planck Institute in Germany and AIIMS, Delhi. Dr. Sharma studied Hindu Vedic rituals, Vedic scriptures such as Vedanta, Bhagvad Gita, Brahmasutra Puranas, Ramayana, etc. under the guidance of Pandit Ram Kishan Sharma, a renowned Vedic scholar in Rajasthan. Subsequently, he has been performing Hindu Vedic rites including weddings, other Samskaras, and helping the Hindu community in the US. Dr. Sharma and Mrs. Sharma have been teaching Sanatan Dharma,  Vedanta, Gita and Ramayan classes in the community and Cultural Center.
