Educational Programs

Academic

We believe that as children are educated, they uplift themselves and their families, transforming lives and futures. This transformation unlocks opportunities otherwise unavailable to the majority of rural denizens and enables upward social mobility.  The Isha Vedic Foundation provides need-based comprehensive funding for fees, school supplies, clothes, shoes, etc. to children whose families cannot otherwise afford to send them to school. 

Distance-education program

Under our distance-education program, teaching children through virtual classrooms, we provide tutoring for children (elementary to high school) online on select topics to help in their course work as well as general education. Foundation provides resources and guidance on other high-quality and freely available educational resources available electronically. We are developing small scale libraries in the rural India to encourage dissemination of knowledge in rural villages as well as promoting literacy.  We additionally plan to establish computer literacy programs in the next phase of development at these library centers.

Spiritual

Delivering Sanatan Dharma education via lectures, seminars, online classes, etc. to promote cultural awareness and preserve Sanatan sanskriti.

Yoga

Yoga tutorials/classes are given online as well as in person for the local community in the US.
